Electricity blackouts in Egypt!Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 7, 2012 at 07:00 Dr. Pipes I wanted to bring this article to your attention and it is the latest disaster in Egypt http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/3/12/49436/Business/Economy/Popular-anger-rises-against-chronic-blackouts-acro.aspx and it is about the now chronic blackouts across Egypt and even in Cairo as per Amr Adeeb it seems that various districts of Cairo have no electricity (and in some cases no water either) on the average 2 hours per day and the only district in Cairo where there are no blackouts and there is always water in the faucets as would be excepted is Heliopolis and this is where the presidential palace is located This goes without saying that it is affecting the struggling economy on a grand scale oh and Ramadan too or is it Ramadan slowing down the economy! So what is Morsi doing about it? He is doing his job: reading the book of Allah and praying! What a disaster Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
