Islam in America?Reader comment on item: Faces of American Islam[: Muslim Immigrants] Submitted by I. Morris (United States), Aug 18, 2002 at 01:10 Yes America's Muslims are a diverse group but critical issues exist that have not been addressed. Insight Magazine just published its 9/2/02 issue and an article titled "Wahhabi Lobby Takes the Offensive" disclosed that Saudi Arabia has poured an estimated 1.85 billion into radicalizing America's Muslims during the 1990's through political front groups, student organizations, mosques, schools, charities and other organizations.Undoubtedly, similar offensives have been launched in Europe. When one considers that the "separation of church and state" so overwhelmingly evident in free and flourishing societies is held inviolable, how is it that the state sponsored religion of Wahhabi Islam is legally permeating every blessed crevice of Western Civilization for no purpose other than our destruction? Yet, Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists are legally prevented from entering their countries to spread our religions. As Islam pronounces itself the world's fastest growing religion, is it any wonder? When their uncanny ability to infiltrate our free and just societies are combined with Islam's high birthrates, mere numeric supremacy becomes a weapon. The weapon turns lethal when theology guarantees an unending supply of martyrs, like Arafat's call for a million martyrs to march on Jerusalem. Which brings me to my next point - this is not religion, but an evil socio-political ideology no different than communism or any other word for a totalitarian state. Unfortunately for Islam, such ideology is an integral component of Koranic theology. What other religion in the world commands world conquest in the name of a diety? Absolutely none. The fact that radical Muslims avail themselves of our democratic freedoms to achieve it's perceived Koranic mandate is pathetic because we allow it to happen. The OBL's of the world are just "practicing their religion". Until the day arrives when the West is capable of discerning the difference between a valid religion and a terrorist organization in the name of a religion, the cause and successes of militant Islam will continue to proliferate. Compared with the House of Saud, Saddam Hussein is downright saintly. Saudi money has corrupted the entire globe and hundred of millions of moderate Muslims. Frankly, we must declare war on fundamentalist Islam and eradicate it from the earth. We might even be shocked how many Muslims join our cause. In any event, toppling the House of Saud by not buying their murderous oil is the trump card for freedom's victory because without Saudi money, the entire movement will be severely weakened and start dying a natural death. It's only our oil dollars that keeps Islamic terrorism afloat. My next point is real interesting. The Soviets were masters at destabilizing the West and they even attempted, with minor success, in commencing a race war in America. Moreover, the Soviets were always cozy with the Arabs (dictators just love other dictators). Is it just possible that the reparations for slavery movement is being financed with Saudi money? Although our liberals might go nuts, America must outlaw the flow of Saudi and gulf oil into our country, shut down all Islamic schools financed with foreign Arab money, shut down the mosques built with Arab money, and shut down all other organization. CAIR and the AMC would probably disappear, two groups who would love a race war. Does anyone really know who funds these radical Islamist organizations? Mr. Pipes, you really need to use your clout to arouse Americans to demand gas stations with signs that say "no Saudi oil". Our government is too busy entertaining the House of Saud down on the ranch. Besides, the House of Saud is already suffering from the unanticipated blows of free market competition as oil appears to be showing up in places deemed un-Islamic; meanwhile oil prices are much lower than the days of $40 a barrel... Finally, what group of people will be the first to utilize our new educational voucher system? Can anyone just imagine the though American taxpayers funding madrassahs? CAIR can. the AMC can. As I wait for the oil sign that says "no Saudi oil", I'll continue to ponder how the state sponsored "religion" of fanatical Wahhabism continues to assault the great nation of "separation of church and state".
