Do Not Discount Syria Too Easily in the Iranian Plan

Since the 1948 reestablishment of Israel, there have been uncounted attempts to 'drive Israel into the sea,' the Iranian version being to 'wipe Israel off the map.' Since there is no moderation on the parts of many Islamic supporters to give Israel any concessions and Israel has been pounded internationally to make concessions, even from the United States, one may arrive at a conclusion that this latest series of attacks upon Israel are just one more in the seemingly endless procession of clashes to keep Israel off balance in perpetuity or until Israel folds.

Israel will not fold. But this is a lesson yet to be learned, not merely by Islamist militants and their overlords, but the United Nations, and to a lesser degree the United States, which have entered into a realm they continue to deny exists, a realm where Israel remains as the survivors of the future clashes view the remains of those who would challenge Israel's right to exist intact.

Egypt's participation appear to be peripheral still as they attempt to Islamize their society further, but with limited ability to be more than a border that Israel needs to keep a keen eye upon. Gaza, still Israel's greatest blunder in releasing (though Biblically prophesied), is Iran's tool in the south to harass central Israel before the main event, the invasion. Still, Hamas still envisions victory from which they expect to get dividends from their false hopes of victory over Israel.

Everything we see happening today is in preliminary views a preparation for achieving advances against Israel. Couple the action being seen today with minimal calls of restraint on the part of the international community to halt those missile attacks and the intention of the Palestinian Authority to call for statehood and it is not hard to see what is really happening here.

The Syrian explosion is not too far off…….
