Dr. Pipes stated ...

"My policy is to never work with the Islamists, work very carefully at a distance with the military and try to help the liberals — the moderates, the seculars who may be distant from power, but who are the only escape from a predicament that a country like Egypt is in."

I agree with this, but would add that US policy toward Egypt and other arab islamic countries should also be highly confrontational in the sense that explicit demands be made. Those demands should include the elimination and repudiation of sharia based lunatic laws in a secular government. The US should demand separation of church and state be implemented, otherwise there will be no American financial, economic, or military support whatsoever. The US should demand radical reform and modernization of all islamic ideology and education to reflect the western values of freedom, liberty, and justice.

Otherwise these arab islamic hateful, brutal, intolerant, murderous, psychopathic muslim societies get nothing from the American people ... not a dime, not a bullet. America will let you drown in your own cesspool of islamic/sharia insanity and barbarism. And if America or US interests are attacked, you will be crushed and vanquished quickly. America will no longer allow itself to be used and slowly bled with interminable wars and islamic OPEC oil supply blackmail. A clear statement that America, if provoked further, will now use its formidable industrial and military power to teach the lunatic islamic world a lesson they will never forget.

The german nazis and japanese militarists were taught a lesson they will never forget in WW2. And look how peaceful and non-aggressive these nations have been since 1945. The same solution may be ultimately required to shake up the islamic world and bring it out of its 1400 year delusional and psychopathic state of hostility and murderous barbarity toward the non-islamic world.

If American politicians truly and believably and forcefully demand real liberal and freedom based reform in the arab islamic world, who knows, maybe everyone, including muslims themselves, may be surprised at the outcome. If the German and Japanese people were able to finally emerge from their murderous hate-filled psychopathic nightmare, may not the muslim people do the same ... ?

Arab muslims must be dealt with firmly. They must not doubt America's resolve to terminate their lunacy, aggression, terrorism, and blackmail of any kind.
