Wonder what Shater's son hasReader comment on item: Fixing Egypt's Economy: No More Military Macaroni Submitted by sara (United States), Aug 15, 2013 at 21:44 Hi DNM, Do you have any theories as to what info he might be divulging about Benghazi? (and why he doesn't just publicize it instead of hyping it...) I have been reading a lot about possible connections with Ansar al Sharia Egypt and Libya as well as the Imprisoned Omar abdel Rahman Brigades (who seem to have now disappeared) but initially claimed responsibility for the Benghazi attack and said it was in order to exchange prisoners (if they hadnt killed Stevens with smoke inhalation). Do you recall there was something about Rahman and a deal that made a few papers at the time. I wonder if that is the info he is referring to. Regardless, it is quite clear that weapons from Libya are making their way into the Sinai for the jihadists and that is a powder keg getting bigger by the day. If there was a US made missile there, it likely came from the Libyan caches that were looted by the 'rebels' when Qaddafi fell.
