AMEN!Reader comment on item: No News Twenty Years after the Oslo Agreement Submitted by There is NO Santa Claus (United States), Sep 12, 2013 at 22:26 For years, the term "peace process" has been a joke. The whole Middle East is on fire. The only place that is tranquil is Israel and the disputed territories. For all their hatred of Jews, I get the feeling that lately, the Palestinian Arabs are feeling kinda lucky they're living under Israeli "tyranny" as opposed to that of Arab making. Who knows! Maybe they'll figure out that the old "autonomy plan" wasn't so bad after all. When it comes to statehood for Palestinian Arabs, they should be careful what they ask for. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. Daniel Pipes replies: You make an important point, one not often noted, that the Arabs connected to Israel should be thanking their lucky stars. Reader comments (12) on this item
