Step in the right direction

The sanctions relief is around $7 billion dollars which is quite insignificant compared to Iran's $500+ billion economy. If Iran misbehaves or obstructs in any way in the next 6 months the sanctions can be easily restarted. This is the only possible deal that could happen between two countries that have not seen eye to eye for 35 yrs. Both give an inch for 6 months and see how it goes. A lot of this is about Iran saving face and people should respect that.

As for comparisons to Nazi Germany I think that is a bit too much. Seeing every incident through the lens of WWII is not constructive or useful. We also need to be careful before citing Saudi "concerns" when it comes to Iran. Which country contributed most to perpetrating 9/11? It was Saudi Arabia not Iran. Which country mourned 9/11? It was Iran and not any of the other gulf states. Which country has thousands of Jews living within its border? Its Iran and not any of the rogue gulf states who hate Iran as a heretic country.. in fact Jews would be shot dead on sight in many of these countries that are protesting the Iran deal. One could go on and on. Gitmo is filled with terrorists from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and other gulf states but has 0 Iranians.

I predict that in the next 25 yrs, Iran will emerge as an ally of Israel and the West and history will look back at the Geneva deal as the foundation that led to such an outcome.
