Our leaders are a reflection of ourselvesReader comment on item: The Rise, Corruption and Coming Fall of the House of Saud Submitted by hani (Lebanon), Dec 8, 2013 at 16:18 Colonialism, we'd love to have it back, better than the rule of our fellows who are savage and stupid. Whether Ottoman, French or British, we were better off being led like cattle than free. What use is freedom for a people whose chains are on the inside. Simply put, we Arabs do not deserve to rule ourselves, we deserve to be treated like the children we are. The West is old, tired and bankrupt, maybe China would be interested in assuming a colonial role.
