Turkey is, for all practical purposes, at war with IsraelReader comment on item: Erdoğan Does Nothing But Make Mistakes Submitted by Michael S (United States), May 26, 2014 at 15:10 The latest out of … Turkey, is that Turkey has issued arrest warants for the Israeli officers who stifled the Turkish blockade busting attempt against Israel a few years ago -- even after the UN declared the Israeli blockade legal, and after Israel offered to pay (but Turkey refused to accept) generous compensation -- as though the tables were turned, and Israel had somehow tried to attack Turkey. Erdogan is a slimebag; and that fact that he is also an oppressive dictator means that the Turks themselves have to pony up their share of putting up with this scum. The Israelis are idiots for sucking up to them. In other matters, Dan said, "Frankly, the Obama administration does not have a clear ally right now in Turkey." Considering that Obama also has few allies in the US, including in his own party, this is no surprise. As for the Turks, poll after poll has shown that the Turkish people hate Americans -- and just about everyone else, for that matter. cf. http://www.pewglobal.org/2009/12/03/negative-views-of-us-unchanged-in-turkey/
