Quite agree with Dr.Pipes on major points - the Middle east created by Western Powers in collapsing in front of our eyes. The emergence of ethnic states would be a better alternative. Kurdish state, Alawite and Druze states along with Arab sunni, Arab Shia and persian Shia states would be way forward
