The Netanyahu Nobody Sees - Too Few Desire to See or UnderstandReader comment on item: Netanyahu Turning Left? More Opinions Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jul 16, 2014 at 15:28 As much as Bibi Netanyahu has been characterized by virtually every politically directed invective there is, there is one thing that can no longer be denied as he begins one of Israel's more difficult time of self-preservation that it has had to endure since the various other war episodes. What makes this period potentially more elusive in terms of peace seeking is that not even the United States can derive a formula that will abate the hatred driven dialogue of most, if not all, of Israel's enemies. And for the record, from this perspective, Bibi has been aware of things coming to this point all along. PM Netanyahu, for all of the trash talk that has been left on his doorstep, has had to deal not only with the marauders from outside, but from political marauding from the interior as well. In the allegations of political vacillation dependent upon whose perspective one considers, finding a solution to peaceful sovereignty within the environment Israel has to endure cannot be as simplistic as many of his detractors seem to think; and he evidently allowed a certain dialogue to be engaged to gauge what was, or was not, tenable in achieving some kind of enduring peace. But as those who are in the know, knowing that Hamas and their cadre of likeminded planners of a 'Palestinian' supremacy over Israeli territory, know that Israel as a vested entity is not in the scheme of the 'Palestine' the enemies of Israel dream of. Mr. Netanyahu knows that as well as any who have contemplated Israel's future. So, he listens; waits; he prognosticates; he waits: the enemy can no longer be patient and now the waiting is over. The 'Palestinian' cause seethes with desperate ambition, using ancient and well-worn terrorist tactics to prompt the Israelis to respond and hope that the world turns a blind anti-Semitic eye to the truth and, like Secretary of State Kerry has done, pushes a dialogue that blames Israel for that which the 'Palestinian' cause instigated. It is too bad that there is no equalizing way that Israel gets to exert its own sovereignty in the same way the rest of the world thinks they can do; but Israel is not going to back away this time: they cannot and Bibi Netanyahu appears ready to press that issue this time, no matter what the detractors appear to think.
