Why does this not happen in other religions?Reader comment on item: [Ra'ed Mansour al-Banna:] The California Suicide Bomber Submitted by Yldaed Suriv (United States), Apr 15, 2005 at 15:09 Dr. Pipes, excellent article. I would like to add with all due respect for a scholar like you that Ali Sina's article on the same subject on faithfreedom.org is also consistent with reality. There are millions of people who are rejected US visas every year around the entire third world. Ever heard of a Nepalese suicide bomber? The innocent Nepalese tourist who was detained for months because he accidentally videotaped an FBI office in NY city in fact mentioned that inspite of the torture he went through in the US, America is still the best.Notice how differently and indignantly a muslim reacts when he is picked for extra screening at an airport. How about Mongolians or the thousands of Chinese and Indians who get refused a visa to the US? Is it possible that the only rejected applicants who turn into suicide bombers are muslim?
