Not totally agreeReader comment on item: Interpreting the Arab Upheavals Submitted by Len Levin (United States), Oct 23, 2014 at 12:34 I always find Daniel Pipes' comments cogent and intelligent. My only disagreement is that the US and the Western countries should be more selective in approving and supporting govt. takeovers. Perhaps the Middle East would have been better off if Gaddafi had remained in control in Libya , and perhaps the same is true regarding Hussein in Iraq. All the Iraqi deaths and the billions spent by the USA, and are we really better off than before?
