At a strict minimum, remove his life as of his migration to Medina. By doing this, all violent verses laid down while in Medina will also be removed. We all know how Mohamed's lifestyle went from peaceful to outright violent. We keep addressing the qur'an but conveniently ignore the basis of the ideology which is Mohamed. Muslim youth learn about Mohamed in islamic schools and in their mosques. They learn they must live their lives according to Mohamed's teachings. For this reason alone, Islam cannot become moderate unless Mohamed ends his life in Mecca.
