Poor girlReader comment on item: "Saudia vs Iran in Yemen - Rights and Wrongs" Submitted by yuval (Israel), Apr 8, 2015 at 05:45 Not only must this poor girl don all this suffocating gear, but she must parrot the directives she gets on her screen. anyway, good job Daniel for pointing out that Yemen is not a nation state, nor are any of the arab countries except for Egypt. Yemen is important for one reason and that is control of the straits to the red sea, likely the most important straits in the world. which explains why Egypt and Arabia are so involved. its curious how the Iran apologists are able to inject Israel into every discussion, even that of the Sunnies killing the Shiites and vice-versa in the corner of the Peninsula On decoding Obama, his take on the fighting is that it does nothing to weaken the Iranian nuclear program, and creates a unified Sunni miliotary command whihc might turn on Israel at some future date. The fact that hundreds then thousands, then scores of thousands will likely die concerns him not at all. Only the destruction of Israel matters. That's what your interlocutor actually said. So we must wish both sides the maximum of success Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
