Rubber meets the road at the bank account!!Reader comment on item: American Islamist Organizations Vanish Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jul 26, 2015 at 00:21 Dear Dr Pipes, Thanks for informing us that the Chicago office of CAIR might close due to lack of funds. If this is true no one needs to shed a tear because CAIR is a hypocritical organization that favors democracy in the USA but theocracy in Islamic countries. Even religious organizations are institutions that need to worry about their balance sheets and make sure that the inflow of funds exceeds the outflow. This is where the rubber meets the road. In this context I wonder how many of CAIR like organizations will surviive if there is no oil money available in the world?
