The "Deal" and HitlerReader comment on item: A Tiny Silver Lining in the Otherwise Bad Iran Deal Submitted by Tim Hunter (United States), Sep 14, 2015 at 23:55 Dan, Do you think any sort of "Deal" would have avoided Hitler's attack on Poland? I am reasonably certain you would agree that nothing would have stopped Hitler but strong force and unity by his enemies against him... Are the Mullahs more reasonable than Hitler? I think not. I think they will continue the war that is on-going and start new conflicts as opportunities occur... Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: Agreed, that no deal would have stopped Hitler. In fact, none did; remember the Munich deal. The mullahs are not quite in Hitler's league in terms of crazed ambitions. Reader comments (14) on this item
