Hi, Mike

What I especially like about Daniel, is the fact that he lets guys like me post here -- I have to be honest about that. It's not nice, to feel passionately about what you think is right and wrong, and to not be able to share it with anyone because we live in a politically correct, beige-and-mauve, blurry, stinking, lifeless world that's afraid to see, think or speak the truth. Apart from that purely selfish motive of mine, the second thing I like about Daniel is that he's unashamedly pro-Israel. It's nice to see that attitude in anyone; but it is refreshingly wonderful to see it in a Jew. It's a sign that something is right in the world, in contrast to the murky, sludgy insanity I see all around me.

Here's my take on the Middle East, and on the world:

1. The God of Israel made this world, and everything in it. God is like a bright light, that shines on everything around us (and on us as well); and if we're willing to open our lives and accept it, things that our leaders and teachers tell us are fuzzy and mysterious aren't that at all: They're clear. Right is right; wrong is wrong. If there's something fuzzy or murky, the problem is in our own minds and half-closed eyes.

2. For reasons only fully known to Him, God has chosen the people of Israel and called them His own. He has chosen the land they are to live in; and he has placed his own name and address in their midst, on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. He is the God of the whole earth; and Jerusalem is where we can go to show our respect for Him. His temple is holy, His priests are holy and His people are holy -- not because they're somehow other than ordinary humans, which they are; but because His name is upon them and among them.

3. The Muslims don't like this arrangement; and they will do anything in their power to fight against it. What's more, there are billions of people in the world who are equally against it. They don't like to think that God has chosen the Jews; because they think they're better than the Jews; and the more God favors them, the more they want to destroy them. That's what's really going on in the world, beneath all the pious gobbledegook. Even the Jews have trouble accepting this reality -- but not so much Daniel, and I praise him for it.

When people speak against Israel, they are simply WRONG. When they say the Jews don't belong in the Promised Land, they are simply wrong. When they say the Temple Mount is for the Muslim Infidels, they are simply wrong. And when they fight against Israel, they are fighting against God; and He will defeat them.

When 9/11 happened, I had been following the sordid events in Israel for over a year: the unprovoked attacks on innocent Jews, and the frustration of Israel having to face not only those attacks, but also the burden of being criticized in their every move by a world that seemed to not understand good from evil and right from wrong. Then WE were attacked in New York, Pennsylvania and DC, and I thought,

"Now, at last, the American people will wake up to what's happening in Israel; because the same things are now happening here!"

Then "W" got up, and vowed to deal with the perpetrators. He didn't seem to notice that these were the same people who were attacking the Jews in Israel; that we had a common cause with that tiny, maligned, beleagured country. "An oversight", I thought. "Maybe after a day or two, it will sink in, and he will mention it." So I waited a few days; then in disbelief, I saw our President, in all seriousness, say, "Islam is peace". Seven years later, I watched with outright bewilderment, when America elected a Muslim-born, mealy-mouthed nobody for President. Then I watched him get the Nobel Prize, "just for being who he was". Then I proceeded to go from one mad, imbecilic decision and proclamation after another while he systematically sought to deligitimatize Israel -- all this, in the name of being a presumed "Christian".

I'm over that now. It's like waking up from a daze, and realizing that the people around me who I thought were alive are really zombies. It all makes sense now: They are mouthing idiocy, from the President down, and doing inane things; but it isn't shocking anymore. After all, they are zombies; and this is what one should expect of zombies.

That's why it's pleasant to see postings from Daniel; but it's EVEN MORE thrilling, to see the American voters rejecting Oatmeal Bush and Oatmeal Rubio and Oatmeal Hillary, and backing the likes of Trump, Cruz and Sanders against all the wishes of the mainstream media! It's absolutely thrilling, to watch Gwen Ifel, Judy Woodruff, Amy Walter and David Brooks sit slack-jawed, after months of snickering and scoffing at these people, watching in shocked unbelief as they see the American people express their will -- a will that is NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT!!!!!!

Aaah, it's the little things that make life worthwhile!
