Great discussion on identification, Prof. Pipes.

I add this: The greatest barrier to identification lies in the American people who are so wrapped up in their own comfort zone of apathy and self-indulgence that, by default, they give "a green light" to terrorism. They become the softest of targets. Love your neighbor has been plagiarized to accommodate the apathy, appeasement, the self-indulgence.Thinking, simply living in this country protects them from ANY form of violence, most especially terrorism. Commuting through each day makes them asleep at the wheel, and it undermines those of us who need their awareness and concern to be a safer nation, to truly "love your neighbor" Mark 12:30,31
