Just as the Islamist feels justified in lying to mere infidels, so too do academic 'progressives' feel entitled to use what ever means to get their message across. Their ultimate goal is to undermine the West and all it stands for. If you want to understand the origin and the goal of political correctness, google 'Critical Theory'. It is not light reading, but well worth examining.
