Paying attention... goodReader comment on item: Parsi vs Daioleslam: Correcting the Record Submitted by David (Israel), Aug 20, 2016 at 23:16 Aha, Daniel - you finally started paying attention to the Al Monitor rag. Here is a good journalistic job to be performed: who finances this operation? They are fiercely anti-Israel (which is legitimate, I just would like to know who is funding them) and lean towards every oppressive Islamist regime in the Middle East, and sometimes disguise it by purportedly (but thinly veiled) "balancing" articles. Of the Israeli journalists, the only publish left or extremely left wing ones. I am following them for years, not a single center or right-wing Israeli opinion ever published. Plus they publish all the time completely idiotic "articles" about Palestinians' culture (that nobody ever bothered even to comment on), always, but always, "by" young women and always in hijab. The latest peace of this ludicrous Hamas agitprop is named something like "how art brings Palestinians together" and is if I am not mistaken about how art brings Hamas and their mortal enemies (missing many kneecaps shot out by Hamas) Fatah in the West Bank. LOL. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: I have read Al-Monitor daily for years. I agree that the Israel coverage is pretty awful but I particularly like the Egypt and Turkey coverage. Reader comments (6) on this item
