It was a dream job I had. 290$ a month when similar clerical jobs went for 200$ monthly. Aramco had a large ground floor office on Market Street. My boss was CR Hamilton Joe Coppa and Ray Padilla. Job was to expedite purchases to Ras Tanura. After invoice checkers legitmized all purchases. Had offices of the original Fluro Corporation. Big project was 'Tapline', a pipeline from the Tanura oil fields to of all places Palestine!! I was amused at the number of condoms being shipped to Bahrain. Eventually to Ras Tanura with the other hue purchases. The company moved to New York City in 1949. Being young i opted to stay in California- maybe a bad choice!
