Why is Trump popular?Reader comment on item: More Indications of Trump's Neo-fascism Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Nov 6, 2016 at 13:23 Dr Pipes Trump is popular because many Americans have no trust in the corrupt DC elite The American people do not want another Bush or another Clinton or another Obama for president and that the Republican elite, many of them will vote for Clinton, are not any different from the corrupt Democrats The American people do not trust the media anymore and this is what Trump is saying: The media is not trustworthy anymore The American people want immigration reform and they want the "wall"! , and Islamic terrorism to be called Islamic terrorism period They want jobs not abstract economic theories and they realize that voting for Clinton is voting for 4 more years of Obama Obamacare and all Hillary Clinton is loathed by many Americans for many reasons and Trump is a far better choice than her Trump promises that he will change all of this! Is he able to do so? I do not know but many believe him This is why Trump is popular Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
