Trump on Israel and Peace and War in the Middle EastReader comment on item: The Gods and the Arab-Israeli Conflict Submitted by Robert (United States), Dec 6, 2016 at 19:44 Dear Daniel Pipes, I have a different prediction on Donald Trump than you do. I think he will be the first President ever to put enormous pressure on the Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslim to make peace with Israel. And this is precisely because, as a businessman, in real estate, he will see it as such. Trump, I don't think, is particularly sentimental. He will look on matters in a cold, Realpolitik way. He may seek the expert advice of Henry Kissinger. He will seek the assistance of Putin. He will marginalize Iran. He will come to some understanding with Syria. Maybe I'm mistaken, but it seems to me that the inertia is in Israel's corner precisely because the Arab and Muslim world is extremely preoccupied with their own upheavals as a consequence of the Arab Spring having turned into a Muslim Hell. It cannot be denied that Arabs and Muslims are far less concerned with plight of the Palestinians or the fate of Israel than they ever have before. And of course, the Palestinian Refugees are now a minority of Muslims displaced by war wile Europe and East Asia is flooded with the unfortunate victims of Muslims due to the fighting monster themselves. It seems that the elite statesmen and politicians of Europe and the United States are still blind to the anti-Globalization and Populist forces that are only now waking up to a consciousness of the destructive forces at work under the ideological banners and cults of Islamism. In the case of "Islamism," the "Morons" are telling the "Fascists" that the "Cowards" are wrong I think you can figure out my coded drift). And then there is the most recent event involving the Oil Cartel, OPEC - the Saudis just blinked! They finally decided to decrease daily production of Crude; this of course means that American Shale production, etc., will increase, and Americans will be free and independent of Middle East, or external oil market forces. Trump appears to bring in brilliant and successful billionaires, and as Kissinger gas said very recently, he is the only recent President on the way to the White House without "baggage." There is, of course the fact that he also has three Jewish grandchildren from his beloved daughter Ivanka, and her husband, his beloved brilliant billionaire Real Estate son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Here we have the possibility that Trump's Jewish children may wish to Settle in Israel as Jews. Will our president-elect dream of biding a Trump Plaza in the West Bank that would not be a part of the Israeli provinces of Judea and Samaria? I'm speculating of course - but with Trump anything may be possible, given his Chutzpah, haha.
