No longer interested in visiting TurkeyReader comment on item: A Frank Exchange of Views with Turkey's Ambassador to Israel Submitted by Leo Murillo (United States), Feb 22, 2017 at 19:24 I have never been to Turkey and I would like to go someday from an historical point of view. But now with Erdogan things (freedom and secularization) has changed dramatically. I have two friends (Therapists)who used to go to Turkey to conduct training workshops in psychodrama they tell me that now there is even fear by the people themselves to speak freely. Also if they know you are an American, you might be subject to an attack (American sailors have been attacked) My friends tell me that Istambul always been very open and cosmopolitan (like New York) but things are changing quickly. The mood is very different. By the way Dr.Pipes how often do you organize academic tours or visits to Israel?
