Why would they help them?Reader comment on item: Why Won't the Arabs Help the Palestinians? Submitted by Nadia (France), Mar 11, 2017 at 19:46 Most Arabs I have spoken to don't like Palestinians. High Officials from Arab states have admited in private not being keen on allowing stateless Palestinians to settle in great numbers in their countries even before the Gulf War when Palestinians openly sided with Saddam Hussein's regime. General Qaddafi threw all of them out of Libya in the 90s and they had to stay stuck on the Egyptian border because Egypt would not allow them in. Palestinian Muslim refugees in great numbers catalysed the civil war in Lebanon. Palestinians have not much to show for the billions USSR, communist States, rich Gulf States, other Arab countries and some European countries poured into their accounts. Today the European Union is funding their Social Security. They get money every month - and the more they breed the more money they get. Gaza has one of the highest fertility rates in the Arab league. Their leaders are corrupted and thieves. Suha Arafat invested in a private school in Tunisia and lives in Paris. She has more than 200m euros. Hamas leaders are all multi millionnaires. Why can't they help their own people? I am not giving a damn about the Palestinian cause. More than 1 million Greeks were expelled from what is now Turkey along with millions of Armenians, Bulgarians and others. Millions of Jews were chased out of Arab states. The above cited people were never compensated for the properties and land they left behind but don't complain and do not blow up buildings or kill people in their former homelands. Many stupid Westerners march for the Palestinian cause. have You seen any Arabs march for the Armenian genocide or some event that does not cocern them? I haven't. By the way, there was never a Palestinian state or people. The people We now call Palestinians are Levantine Arabs or Arabised Levantines.
