An odd twist of fateReader comment on item: The Six-Day War: Personal Recollections Submitted by Peter Herz, Jun 8, 2017 at 19:40 Dr. Pipes, you mentioned your ultra-liberal headmaster taking pains to distinguish the Israeli war from the "bad" US war in Viet Nam. Isn't it interesting that, not too long after it destroyed the armies of two Soviet proxies and delivered millions in Soviet military hardware into US hands, Israel started to become the special target of Leftist ire? That's one thing I recall from those days.
