Time is ticking, toward the Kurdish ReferendumReader comment on item: Deciphering the Trump and Erdoğan Foreign Policies Submitted by Michael S (United States), Sep 14, 2017 at 02:40 I have just submitted what the Bible (Jewish OT AND Christian NT) prophesies concerning the times we live in -- namely, the times after the Jews are miraculously brought back from the nations of the world, to regenerate the state of Israel (This happened in 1948). I only listed two prophecies, namely, the Turkish attack and the later attack by all the nations (the UN) of the world. This, according to various Biblical prophecies, is to be followed by the Messianic Kingdom, a hope of many Christians and Jews alike. The solar eclipse just past, over nearly all the US, was a rare event. Even rarer still, is the fact that another total solar eclipse, covering most of the US east of the Rockies, will happen exactly seven years after that first one. The books of Daniel and Revelation (i.e. both Jewish and Christian books) prophesy about a 3-1/2 year period immediately preceding the coming of Messiah. That would be, if my hopes are correct, the last half of this rare seven-year period. Both eclipses are almost exclusively over the US; and the midpoint between them, occurring 20 January 2021 during a major alignment of the outer planets, is the next Inauguration Day for the US President. I am not a Biblical prophet, nor a Bible scholar (If I were the latter, I would be dismayed; because none of the self-proclaimed "prophets" of our time agree with one another). I simply know how to read the Bible, and also read about the publicly known events of today; and knowing basic arithmetic, I am able to put the two together. I became aware of these planetary alignments and eclipses several months ago; and, seeing the significance in the Bi8ble of these time periods, I have been expecting something significant to occur during this past eclipse. I thought it would involve Turkey; but since the event did happen in the US and not Turkey, I am not surprized that the major event did happen here and not there. I am not referring to hurricaines Harvey and Irma, nor to the historic wildfires ravaging the Western US. I am referring to the resignations of Steve Bannon and others, and virtual "palace coup" in the White House -- engineered ominously by the President's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, whose flagship property is at 666 Fifth Avenue in New York. I did not expect to see that number pop up in that way. Many say it is the Hebrew gematria of the Greek version of "Nero Caesar" -- who, the easiest reading of Revelation would indicate, was "the beast" of Revelation during the lifetime of the Revelator. The "Caesar" of today will obviously be a different person; a "reincarnation" of sorts, of the earlier beast. I am as shocked as most people, to think it might be Kushner; but let us wait and see. Concerning Turkey, I have been expecting for some time, to see Turkey seal an alliance with Iran -- something that has seemed most improbable until recently; and, according to you, is still improbable. The latest on this evil romance is: "Senior Iranian, Turkish officers warn Kurds not to hold plebiscite: sources "Iranian and Turkish sources report Wednesday that senior military and intelligence officers from the two countries have visited Irbil, capital of Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdish region, over the last several days to warn the Kurds not to hold a referendum on independence scheduled for September 25. "Meanwhile, Turkish sources report that Hakan Fidan, head of the MIT, Turkey's national intelligence organization, will visit Irbil this week to both warn the Kurds not to hold the referendum as well as seek the release of two MIT agents arrested in the Kurdish region while planning to murder leaders of the banned Kurdish PKK underground." That referendum is is scheduled to happen in a few days; and the Kurds show virtually no inclination to call it off. In a twist on Bogart in "Casablanca", this could be the beginning of a very ugly relationship.
