Dear Dr. PipesReader comment on item: Trump, Iran, and a Fast-Changing Middle East Submitted by Debanjanbanerjee (India), Nov 22, 2017 at 03:33 I believe that until now it is the US who have always reneged on the deals that she made. Remember the US did promise the Russians that they will not expand NATO but they did not listen to it. Remember the deals that the US made with Qaddafi and how it was reneged. In contrast the East always have accepted the deals. Lets remember that both Egypt and Jordan until now have kept their end of the bargain vis a vis Israel although in the long run that deal has been not very good for both these two countries.
