Secrets agreements between Italy and terroristsReader comment on item: Italy's Apocalypse Submitted by Antonio C. (Italy), Dec 3, 2017 at 14:24 Dear Mr. Daniel Pipes, I am an Italian citizen. I would like to talk about a topic not cited in your article. In the past, Italian government has made some secret agreements with Middle Eastern terrorist groups. One of them is the "Aldo Moro's Agreement", made in 1973 after the attack to Rome Fiumicino Airport. This contract allowed the P.L.O. to transport weapons through Italy. As a compensation, P.L.O. did not make attacks in Italian land. This agreement is one proof of appeasement of Italian foreign policy. For this reason, Italy is a bridge for terrorists from Middle East to other European countries. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
