What matters is whether the population is content, not whether they enjoy what Westerners call "human rights".

Besides, in Canada, you do not have the human right to maintain that the terms male/female refer to something biological and so-called human rights activists do not mind this. I see no reason for Oman to be the way feminists or Westerners think a Western country ought to be just as I wouldn't wish Arab countries to impose their customs on Western countries. What matters is whether the population is relatively content, and they do seem to be.
