Reading this in 2019Reader comment on item: Implications of the Rabin-Arafat Accord Submitted by Eric (United States), Apr 1, 2019 at 19:05 It's 2019, over a quarter of a century later, as I am reading this and every negative possibility predicted 1993 Daniel Pipes came true. The only benefit Israel got was a temporary improvement in international standing as seen by the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Vatican, India, Jordan, and a few other countries in the 1990s. By 2002 Israel would be embroiled in a war equaled only by 1947 in the death toll of its civilian population and it would face a shockingly hostile international community. Predicting the future is incredibly perilous but Daniel Pipes has a much better track record than most.
