But (1) what is the Strategy, and (2) what are the Tactics, for Israel's Victory?Reader comment on item: Tel Aviv's Mayor vs. the Middle East Forum Submitted by Robert (United States), Feb 23, 2020 at 02:42 I've asked this many times, but had no answer(s) so far. It seems to be to be a mere Slogan. On the other hand, it appears that President Trump of the USA has been doing things in coordination with Israel under Netanyahu which amount to maximizing the benefits of Israel's (military) Victories. Even the latest tactic - the "Deal of the Century" - is a Tactic for Israel to further assert its Sovereignty over the Disputed (or Liberated) Territories. After military victories, countries expand the State over the Conquered Land(s). The Posters which Humiliate these Palestinian "leaders" (a serious affront in Arab Muslim culture) does not accomplish much it seems to me to the benefit of Israel or Israelis. In act, these 2 characters are the best for Israel precisely because their intransigence gives Israel the "excuse" to do as it pleases - in its own best interests. Daniel Pipes replies: And I have replied, probably an equal number of times, that as Americans we see it neither suitable nor useful for us to get into strategic, much less tactical considerations. We prefer to stay at the level of policy. Reader comments (11) on this item
