Walter Duranty, the Holodomor, the Kulaks, Stalin and total disregard for the lives of innocent people and the so called Grey Lady aka the New York Times

Dr. Pipes,

Katherine Stewart of the NYT is blaming the so called "religious right's hostility to science" for the outcome of the Chinese/Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. Absolute insanity.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but she is not an epidemiologist. Epidemiology and pandemics are race, religion and color blind. And to be able to understand what Drs Birx and Fauci one must have great command of what is incidence v prevalence, what is really quarantine, when to test or not to test, which test, the specificity and sensitivity of a test, blood test looking for IgM v IgG or nasal/oral swabs and quality assurance of obtaining such samples, what is anecdotal observation v prospective and retrospective studies with regard to prescribing a medication never evaluated before in the treatment of a novel infection and this is only a very partial list. And this is why Governor Coumo of NY is being a fool for dishing out advise about a very complicated subject instead or directing questions to an epidemiologist. But we have seen the disaster in NYC where the NYC Health Commissioner was telling New Yorkers in early February 2020 that it is OK to participate (in the name of combating racism and advancing inclusion) in the Chinese New Year celebration. She is an absolute fool because she should know that if you have a "droplet infection" as in the case of the Wuhan/Chinese coronavirus pandemic then social distancing is the answer. But again she is a failed epidemiologist and she is only an activist and she is still the NYC Health Commissioner. She has no shame and so is Bill DiBlasio the mayor .

The NYT used to be called the Grey Lady but not anymore and the decline started long time ago during the infamous reporting of Walter Duranty in the 1930's about Russia, communism, Ukraine, the murder by starvation of many innocent Ukrainians in the Holodomor. He was blaming the Kulaks, the Orthodox, and the victims of this crime and praising communism, Russia and Stalin. Here is Walter Duranty's wikipedia page

Absolute shame

This is not unlike what that horrible Katherine Stewart is doing. But this is not new and no wonder the NYT is dying and it is a slow death.

We can only blame the CCP and China for this catastrophe and China should compensate the entire world for the economic disaster resulting from this pandemic. If Chinese people want to eat "bat soap" that is a choice that they make, but the CCP should take all measures to protect not just the Chinese consumer but the rest of the world from these disasters.

The CCP learned the lesson of another bogus word "Islamophobia" and CCP knew very well that being critical of Islam will get one labelled as anti-Muslims and therefore if one is critical of the CCP one must be an anti-Chinese racist.

Dr Pipes, I urge your readers not to click on this article because this is how the NYT is making money these days. A failed newspaper
