Delays of Process Appear to Have Some Resultant EffectReader comment on item: Interview: Islamism's War on the West Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jul 21, 2020 at 19:09 Timing is everything in many situations; this is no more evident than in the circumstances of the international political intrigues being played out in the Middle East. Just when one might expect an action to be advanced in order to catch a target of opportunity when few are looking, an unexpected turn of events forces one to turn around to see what transpired behind their back and attempt to determine the consequences. Of such are the apparent setbacks that appear to have been dealt to the Iranian leadership as the clouds of interference swirl over various parts of the national infrastructure. This will likely mean that the investments of political interventionist intrigue that have been made abroad will come into sharper focus as the damage assessment is made at home that will affect the timing of so many plans that are surely in the offing. The intent is still there; all this really means is that a different trigger will likely come into play.
