Melina Abdullah = hateReader comment on item: Prophet of Rage: A Life of Louis Farrakhan and His Nation Submitted by George (United States), Jul 27, 2020 at 17:59 [Credit: lamarina Conservspedia] Melina Abdullah is LA co-founder and official head of BLM Los Angeles and a professor of pan-African studies at CalState. She has officially cemented the relationship between BLM and the Nation of Islam and infamous Farrakhan whom Anti-Defamation League identifies as the nation's "leading anti-Semite."[1], Melina Abdullah said, "Minister Farrakhan was calling on folks not to spend their dollars with the white corporations that keep us oppressed, and so we partnered with the Nation and helped to amplify that call."[2] She has a hateful record of appearing at Farrakhan and Nation of Islam events and praising the [3] antisemitic hate group and its leader.[4] When Facebook finally decided to remove Farrakhan over his hateful rhetoric toward Jews, the Black Lives Matter, she came to his defense. She is largely blamed for the June 1, 2020 BLM protest that became a pogrom, including racist targeting of synagogues, "free palestine" vandalism.[5] ______ References: [1]The Nation of Islam, Anti-Defamation League.
