LL Cool J (James Todd Smith) has said he is a very devout Christian, but plays the role of a Muslim on "NCIS-LA". He often white-washes Islam by quoting an acceptable verse but not the verse that follows. Ex., Quran 5:32 but not 5:33 . Zeeko Zaki does the same on "FBI". There are other examples which appear to be a trend.
