Reader comment on item: Harvard's Counter Teach-In, 50 Years Later

Submitted by Prashant (United States), Feb 16, 2021 at 23:02

Dear Dr Pipes, It was fascinating to read about your counter teach-in initiative in the early seventies. You were thinking ahead of your time and, luckily, the leftist takeover of the universities had not yet happened. Now, the modern youth has no example to follow. Father, mother, religion, and nation all have become subservient to the leftist thought. Those were good days, sir. In those days university students had time and courtesy to maintain and wear ties and ironed white shirts. The photograph accompanying your article shows. Now, all that matters is diversity.
