Ancient Prejudices Compelling Modern Applications

Reader comment on item: Conversion to Islam in the Premodern Age

Once again, the pragmatic observations of Dr. Pipes does more to lend credence that Islamic influences of the centuries are more than mere circumstantial intrusions into the world fabric of humanity still struggling with ethnic identities, centering in the Middle East; but still infusing a caustic mindset that following the Quran as the adherents of the ages keep saying, is not going away willingly into that dark night without causing as much collateral damage as they possibly can; all the while still blaming Israel as the primary reason for the compulsion of rage and ambitions of empire, now out of control.
This prompts recall of those others in the forum (DNM, Prashant, AVCR, others) that have added to the Dr.'s compendium of histories and tragedies at the hands of the Quranically led conquests of the ancient world that is still reeling from modern wars with Islamic influences intersecting western cultures (Aryan German connection) in ways too many seem to be oblivious of, and yet are also defending in anti-Semitism.
Thanks, Dr. Pipes, for your explanation.
