Norman Finkelstsein - the terribleReader comment on item: Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict Submitted by Miriam S. (United States), Jul 30, 2021 at 00:07 Anti-Defamation League | Former Depaul Professor, Norman Finkelstein to Speak at KinderUSA Fundraiser | Midwest Finkelstein to Speak at KinderUSA Fundraiser April 26, 2012 Norman G. Finkelstein, an anti-Israel academic whose career has been marked by a vitriolic hatred of Zionism and Israel, is scheduled to be the "Special Guest Speaker" at the 10th anniversary celebration of KinderUSA, an organization whose stated mission is to "alleviate the suffering of children and their families in Palestine and beyond." The May 5 event in Long Beach, billed as: "A Decade of Giving," is endorsed by the Los Angeles-based Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC). In a press release for the event, MPAC's Senior Advisor Dr. Maher Hathout said, "I think everyone who comes will walk out informed and inspired as well...you will listen to perspectives that you will not hear on CNN or the official media that is always giving us our narrative. It's about time to hear the narrative coming from ourselves to ourselves." To learn more please check out ADL Access– a blog that is focused on extremism. Denial: Norman Finkelstein and the New Antisemitism Did Norman Finkelstein Just Deny the Holocaust? AUG 1, 2020, 10:26 PM Kevin Berk Now, to be fair, Dr. Norman Finkelstein did not specifically state that the Shoah never happened. What Finkelstein did was question or excuse others for questioning the number of victims and the means by which they were killed, which according to the International Holocaust Remembrance Association is Anti-Semitism in the form of Holocaust Denial as it is "Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust)." This occured when he in this video stated: Alexander, Edward; Bogdanor, Paul, eds. (2017) [2006]. The Jewish Divide Over Israel: Accusers and Defenders. Abingdon, Oxon, London & New York City: Routledge. p. 154. ISBN 9781351480499. The Verdict of the Historians To any serious reader, it is clear that The Holocaust Industry is not a courageous exposé by a marginalized dissident but a toxic stream of defamations, falsifications, and fabrications aimed at his fellow Jews. Such a bill of indictment would give pause to an honest author. But what is the combined weight of the historical profession when set against the antiJewish conspiracy theories of Norman G. Finkelstein? ... This is surely self-evident to the neo-Nazis who sing his praises, to the Holocaust deniers who republish his books on their websites, to the legions of enthusiasts eager to hear that the wicked Zionists are the source of all the evils that beset the human race. In Finkelstein's mental universe, Israeli Jews are a "parasitic class," but Hezbollah terrorists are the paragons of liberation. In his scholarly judgment... Bartov, Omer (August 6, 2000). "A Tale of Two Holocausts". The New York Times. Landau, Ronnie (July 21, 2000). "A grubby story?". The Spectator. p. 30. Paterson, Tony (February 18, 220). "German outrage at Holocaust book". The Daily Telegraph. London. Paraded by a Wikipedian infamous long time hater, portraying Middle East conflict as "non-Jews"... vs Jews.
