Position of the Gulf StatesReader comment on item: Interview: As Iran Approaches a Nuclear Breakout Submitted by Cary Hillebrand (United States), Aug 11, 2021 at 14:27 What do you see as the position of the Gulf States, and in particular UAE and Bahrain to possible Israeli military action against Iran? Is there any possibility that they would join military action or at least serve as a forward operating base? Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. Daniel Pipes replies: I expect they will quietly urge Israel on, maybe even help, but not expose themselves publicly to Iranian fury. Reader comments (9) on this item |
