To each his ownReader comment on item: Why I Am Not a Muslim Submitted by Akilah (United States), Oct 25, 2005 at 10:11 I happened to reach this site while trying to find something else. While here I read this article, the comments and other articles as well. Now I need some help...If history serves me right, most religions spread their message through violent overthrow. In Quran are the same stories that are in the Bible (remember as Muslims we respect and accept the books that came before which also includes the Torah). My opinion of this article is the author is entitled to believe what he wishes to believe, that is between him and his God. His experiences have brought him to that point and that is fine. And who really knows the true path to salvation... nobody ever died and came back to say who was right. We should all strive to be the best people we can be, giving thanks to what ever (whoever) brings them peace. Wa Salaam Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
