Iran should return to its pre-Islamic roots

Dear Dr Pipes,

The ancient Persian culture had made so much contribution to the world's heritage. Islam has only brought misery to the great nation of Iran. I think modern Iranian people have very good reasons to give-up Islam and return to their original roots.
