Allegiances to Which Adherence of Islam - Fundamentalist or Apostate?Reader comment on item: Tolerance and Risk Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Dec 8, 2021 at 13:00 Further consideration of how the world may, or may not, survive this ages old battle of tolerating or resisting Islam in its variant forms, variously Fundamentalist, Sunni, Shiite, Sufi, and any other lesser practice of its frame of religious references, must adapt how the world believes those who are not so inclined to adopt Islam as a way of life are going to be allowed to continue, if, the big if, adherents of Islam are permitted by the ruling class of Islamic leadership (mullahs, Imams, etc.) are so inclined. Are they(?): the continuing conflicts of hatred suggest they are not. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
