Thanks to reader Ryan for accectuating the point to be made: Gnosticism, a form of sectarian secularistic thought was warned about and allowing it to be spread in place of the Gospel provided the momentum of countering teh Gospel and allowing Islam sway in the replacement theology that is still fought about today.
Ultimately, the Kingdom of Heaven will be presented ina way that no one, not even the Pope, will be able to argue that Jerusalem will be shared with the 'Palestinians;' the hope of disaffected Hamas and their proxy leaders in Persia. Hizbollah and others that think pressing the 'Palestinian' button around the Temple Mount issues of whose it is can be looked at as a cause for helpong Israel: but now, who is in the mood for that?
That is what this is all about: who wins the 'Palestinian' issue? It is not 'Christianity's' mission- it never was.
