Screening for "Radical" MuslimsReader comment on item: The Case for Banning Burqas and Niqabs Submitted by David Ryan (United States), Apr 26, 2022 at 13:20 I don't care who wears a burka or not. David Horowitz somewhat notably challenged a female Palestinian sympathizer with this question: "I'm a Jew. The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn't have to hunt us down globally. For it or against it?" To which she replied, "For it." I would screen everyone coming into the country by signing this pledge under penalty of perjury and deportation if they ever contradict it: I repudiate the following as either false or not operative after the life of Muhammad (also printed in Arabic so it isn't repudiated just because it's a translation as a form of taqiyyah): Quran [9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
