BBC documentary - Birth of Israel - Birth of a Nation.

First basic inaccuracy he makes, all along, he calls the Arabs "Palestinians."
They were called Arabs. Not 'Palestinians-as-opposed-to-Jews,' by anyone. Anyone living there was a Palestinian. Before 1948.

Then there is the elephant in the room, the omitted elaboration of the explusion of around 1 million Jews from Arab countries.

Bowen:
But for the "Palestinians"... what they call, a catastrophe...

Pres. Shimon Peres:

The Palestinians have to do some soul searching too, why did it become a catastrophe.

They could have accepted most of the land, a state of their own. They refused, not us, in 1947. We can not apologize for their mistake.

Though he does mention extremely briefly the Mufti and his alliance with the Nazis and meeting Hitler, he does not elaborate on the Mufti's assassinating moderste Arabs for years, during the 1930s, or that the Arabs overwhelming were sympathetic to the Nazis, as Ahmed Shukeiri openly writes in his book about it, about himself and their overall society. (BTW, Shukeiri hinself also helped the Nazis since 1941. It was affirmed in the 1940s by the 'Society for the Prevention of WW2', also stated in the US House in 1961 and in 1965 as well as by other experts and the fact, wirth mentioning, that in 1946, he rationslized Hitler's massacre of the 6 Million Jews). Doesn't Bowen think that Jews' fear of Arabs' racist hatred, (since 1920 instigated by such as the Mufti, using jihadi sentiments) had anything to do with following events?
Or the Mufti's bloody hand, his Fascist Futuwwa, in the cfuel bloody Farhud pogrom, in Iraq, 1941.

Even when he stresses that the "Palestinian" leadership was weak, he still fails to mention Mufti, his gang eliminating the Arab moderates, systematically.

Bowen dedicates much to the Deir Yassin matter.

Though the importance of the connecting route is emphasized, how Arabs attacked the lifeline, which connected Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, bringing supply. Yet, Instead of directly exposing why Deir Yassin was attacked, Bowen suddenly pauses from this, instead inserts unfairly another thing, trying to connect Ben Gurion's plan emphasizing one side view... which he mentions it as a "fact" minutes later on...

The priority was to open up the road to Jerusalem ..

Bowen, then quotes rival group and competitor Hagana supposed 'account.'
He says that "Palestinians" have been fleeing their homes for safer places since 1947 but after a Deir Yassin a mass exodus occurred.

He also calls (all) those killed as "civilians"... so who was then attacking from Deir Yassin on the convoys? He omits entirely the reports of armed men in Deir Yassin at the time of the battle.

Menachem Begin said the "massacre" was a lie. Propogated by his political rivals and by Jew haters around the world. But Begin said that the legend of terror was worth half a dozen batallion, because Arabs were ceased with panic when they heard that the Irgun was coming.

"Palestinian" radio made the atrocities sound even worse than it was, to stiffen up resistance. The reports made the civilians even more terrified.

Four days after Deir Yassin there was another massacre. A coulmn of Jewish doctors and nurses were attacked by "Palestinians" at Mount Scopus, their vehicles were set on fire and many were burned to death. 78 were killed.

Bowen completely chose to ignore the Jews ultra orthodox, Haredim from Givat Shaul who protested the Irgun Lechi after the battle.

Bowen then says that "Palestinians" have been fleeing their homes for safer places since 1947 but after Deir Yassin a mass exodus occurred.

Some Israelis claim that the "Palestinians" were leaving under the orders of Arab leaders to wait for victory..

Bowen asked Shimon Peres.

Does Israel bare any respondibility for "Palestinian" exodus of 1948?
Peres:

No.

Then Bowen brings up the argument of plan D as a supposed "blue print.." (by rewriters).

In relations to blame, he carefully chooses the term "Jewish leaders" instead of the accurate term, Zionists.

Bowen, in a strong bias trend he is very careful in calling only the rewriters as "historians" and those thst remember and other [honest] historians as simply "Israelis".... Still, Peres reject the argument..

Peres:

No.

You know, as they say, I was present at the creation, I don't mind what those are writing, I watched with my own eyes, Ben Gurion did not want the Arabs to leave.
