Forcing Muslims to lie to defend IslamReader comment on item: Muslim Dreams and Jesus Submitted by Prashant (United States), May 29, 2022 at 01:24 Dear Dr Pipes, The old human wisdom is that every liar knows when s/he is lying. And, in fact, most of the times when a person lies, his/her audience also know that he is lying. Muslim's lies to defend Islam at all costs oftentimes become blatantly obvious. Consider the Islamic defense of a man's right to have sex with slave women and the women "captured" in the wars to spread Islam (ref1). The defense starts with the usual what-your-right-hand-possesses mumbo jumbo. It goes on to say that Islam is so great that it allows a slave woman to be freed if the sex act leads to a pregnancy and a child is born. The right answer to this question for a Muslim should be that, first, slavery is bad and, then, to allow men to have sex with slaves and women captured in a war is immoral and wrong. But Muslims will not admit these simple facts and will go into lying ad-infinitum to protect Islam and Muhammad. In this message my purpose is not to discuss the merits or demerits of Islamic sexual practices. My purpose is that non-Muslim world should never hesitate to ask Muslims tough questions. The more tough questions we ask, the more often we will force Muslims to lie. The more they lie, the more Muslims and non-Muslims will catch them lying. Islam stands on very thin intellectual ice. It should be easy to bring the Islamists to truth. The more we force Muslims to lie to defend Islam, the better it will be for the world. ref1: Example of Islamic defense of unrestricted sex with slave and POW women.
