'Palestinian' Saga Continues in Arabic Grief for the Lack of Historical Evidence of Islam at Second Temple Site - No Quranic EvidenceReader comment on item: "Palestinians Seek Apology for Balfour Declaration" Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jul 28, 2022 at 22:56 For nearly two thousand years, the appellation 'Palestine', a Roman attempt to erase the Jewish identity of land that was promised to the antecedent Abraham of the freshly minted Hebrew ethnicity, still seems to cause humanity so much misery; and most of the misery is self inflicted. The grief of Islam is that those who adhere to the precepts of the Quran cannot get past the ideological barrier that they strive to replace and cannot find what they are doing wrong that prevents that implementation of their desires. Could it be that, indeed, since Jerusalem is not named in the Quran, its destiny was never determined to be Muslim in the first place; that the claim of Muslims for occupation of 'Palestine' does not have Divine concurrance after all; at least not for Muslim occupation of the historical land of the descendents of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
