Two state solutions are Islam's repeated disgrace

Dear Dr Pipes,

I am sorry for a relatively harsh title of my message but I will explain. I very strongly believe that the civilized and free world should not judge Islam with a special yardstick designed for Islam. We should judge Islam with the same standard with which we judge everyone else.

The, so called, two state solutions are misnomers and allow special privileges to Muslims. In the. so called, two state solution in Israel, we want a small part of the region specially demarcated for Muslims (masquerading as Palestinians) and the rest of the region allocated to everyone else, namely, the Jews, Christians, and whoever chooses to make that region their home. British handed over the same two state solution to India in 1947 and by 1971 it became a three state solution with two states going to feuding Muslims and the third to everybody else.

Islam does not deserve any special treatment. If Israel needs to be divided into two states, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, etc. must also be divided into multiple states. The purpose of religion is to bring peace so all people can live together and show kindness to each other. If Muslims need Muslim-only enclaves in every part of the world, it is Islam's failure to live and let live. It is nothing else. And, that is why I am so harsh. Though Islam claims to be the religion of peace, peace is Islam's Achilles' heel. Peace is the thing that is fundamentally missing in the Islam-only enclaves that Muslims create for themselves

. When Pakistan was broken in 1947, millions of Bengali Pakistani Muslims were killed by Punjabi, Sindhi and Baluchi Muslims. Go figure. The only reason the two divided parts of Pakistan are not killing each other today is because they are physically separated by more than 1000 miles.

Perhaps we do not need a two nation solution. We need a two-world solution: one for Muslims to conduct their wars with each other and one for everyone else. And, we can sign a Muhammad-esque treaty with the Muslims: if they attack non-Muslims and lose and land, they must permanently vacate that land.
